Our Services
Trauma-informed care, compassionate connection, and practical support.
What We Do
Oak Valley Counseling offers accessible, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive mental health care for individuals, families, and communities across Oregon. Our team includes licensed counselors, associates, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner, allowing us to provide therapy, assessment, supervision, and medication support all in one place.
Whether you’re navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, legal involvement, or life transitions, we’re here to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Individual Therapy
One-on-one counseling tailored to your needs.
Individual therapy, also known as one-on-one therapy or counseling, is a therapeutic approach where a person meets with a trained mental health professional to address personal issues, emotions, behaviors, or life challenges. The therapy sessions provide a confidential and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insights, and develop strategies for coping and problem-solving. This personalized approach can help people better understand themselves, manage mental health conditions, improve relationships, and work towards achieving personal goals.
Medication Management
Psychiatric support grounded in collaboration.
Our psychiatric nurse practitioner offers compassionate, trauma-informed medication management for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns.

We believe medication is one of many tools — and always collaborate closely with clients and therapists for integrated care.

Group Therapy
Support and healing through shared experience
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy where one or more therapists work with a small group of individuals who are facing similar issues or challenges. The goal of group therapy is to provide support, encouragement, and insight as participants share their experiences and feelings in a safe environment. It can help individuals feel less isolated, gain different perspectives on their problems, and learn new coping strategies through interactions with both the therapist and other group members. Common topics addressed in group therapy include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues.
