Clinical Executive/Mental Health Therapist
Hi`ilei Battistini, LPC, CCSOT, CADC-R
Life can be difficult to navigate, and the loss of a loved one or a relationship can leave us feeling lost and overwhelmed. I support and help individuals make sense of their world during these challenging times. I aim to equip them with new tools to cope with struggles, process complex issues, set healthy boundaries, and identify what brings them happiness. I specialize in helping people with bereavement, complex grief, depression, relationships, and anxiety.

I am trained in integrating and using CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, and mindfulness. I also have extensive training with bereavement, and complex grief often seen with survivors of major loss (e.g. suicide), and behavior modification in adolescents and adults.

Change and loss can be complex and confusing for everyone. I have an easy-going presence in the counseling room and would love the opportunity to provide the space and expertise to support you through these issues. I am currently accepting adult and adolescent clients.

Clinical Director/Mental Health Therapist
Tyler Gates, LPC, CADC II
My approach to therapy uses integrated techniques with a strong background in
psychodynamic principles. I pull on interventions from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief
Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and
Motivational Interviewing. By integrating a variety of tools into the therapy room, we can
explore multiple solutions to empower you to find what works best.

Mental Health Therapist
Jonathan Anderson, Professional Counselor Associate
I graduated from Corban University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with primarily individuals, as well as some couples and families, experiencing a vast array of challenges, including mood disorders, severe persistent mental illness, grief and loss, life transitions, and adjustment disorders.

I provide counseling and therapy services from an existential, person-centered point of view, wherein the individual is empowered to make the changes they see fit in their lives. My approach is influenced by object relations therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I am a firm social justice advocate and approach all topics from a place of cultural responsiveness.

Mental Health Therapist
Brittany McKenna, Professional Counselor Associate
I view that therapy aims to lead to a stronger sense of self-acceptance, connectedness to oneself and one’s community/relationships, and ultimately greater psychological well-being. My approach centers on trauma-informed, non-judgemental, and sociocultural-attuned care. I work with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, emotion/behavioral management, attachment issues, life transitions, and a wide variety of mental health and relationship concerns. I seek to co-create a space to honor your authentic expression and support you in addressing needed aspects of your inner and outer life on your unique path to wellness. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Mental Health Therapist/Clinical Supervisor
Dirk Shumway, LCSW
In my over 58 years of life experience and 28 years as a therapist, I have learned that life can be challenging and painful. Many of us experience significant suffering, feeling stuck and disconnected from our Source, life, and others, which can prevent us from finding joy. Various factors, such as conditioned responses and unhealthy thought patterns, can amplify our struggles. For years, I have focused on understanding and treating the issues that lead to this unnecessary suffering, drawing from a wealth of modern and ancient knowledge to facilitate healing and restore a sense of purpose. As social beings, we thrive through collaboration and support. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for change and healing to occur.
